Our work involves the cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of air conditioning ducts, whether they are made of metal, fiberglass, polyurethane, or any other material. This ensures a higher level of hygiene and a healthier environment, free from unpleasant odors. Over time, and due to regular use, air ducts accumulate dirt inside, caused by dust, smoke, and grease that commonly circulate through them. This buildup is worsened by poor maintenance, where ducts have never been internally cleaned or disinfected periodically. The air quality inside the ducts deteriorates, leading to high levels of CO2 and organic contaminants. The combination of darkness, humidity, and temperature inside the ducts creates the perfect environment for the rapid growth of viruses, bacteria, fungi, and pathogens such as Legionella and other airborne viruses that spread through ventilation and air extraction systems in buildings—commonly known as Sick Building Syndrome. This lack of cleanliness and hygiene directly and permanently affects personnel exposed to it, leading to headaches, eye irritation, fatigue, stress, lack of concentration, allergies, coughing, flu, infections of the nose, ear, and throat, pneumonia, and more. Therefore, cleaning and disinfecting air conditioning ducts from the inside, using specialized equipment, ensures complete cleanliness and prevents the spread of diseases and viruses. This significantly reduces sick leaves caused by the transmission of illnesses between workers in the same workspaces or even in separate areas connected by the ventilation system.
